Yellowstone in Winter on Film

After living in Jackson for almost 15 years, I was finally able to hop on a snowmobile trip through Yellowstone National Park in the winter. While the climate in Yellowstone during the winter can be quite brutal, we were fortunate to catch the first sunny day after weeks of snowstorms. The snow still clinging the walls of the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone was pretty spectacular to see and made for one of my favorite textures to shoot. I lugged both my Mamiya m645 120 film camera and my Nikon digital camera, but found myself drawn to shooting film on the 2 day trip. Check out some shots below from a couple rolls of Ilfors HP% Plus and what ended up being my last roll ever of Fujifilm Pro 400.
